On 17 and 18 March 2026, DIE ZEIT, Handelsblatt, Tagesspiegel and WirtschaftsWoche will jointly host their sixth major Europe conference.
Amid global upheavals and growing geopolitical tensions, Europe is facing pivotal choices. Transatlantic relations need to be recalibrated, the international security situation remains tense, and more than ever, Europe is called upon to assume responsibility and demonstrate strength.
EUROPE 2026 is dedicated to precisely these questions: How can we secure Europe’s competitiveness in an increasingly fragmented global economy? How can we reduce our dependencies regarding energy, raw materials and key technologies? What does it take to implement the green and digital transformation not only politically, but also economically? And last but not least: How can we inspire young people to engage with Europe and its democratic values?
